You may want to read more about supporting a bereaved child or young person, or to find out about what others have found helpful.

We have compiled a number of information sheets that deal with the most frequently-asked questions we have received over the years. These can be downloaded and printed for yourself or perhaps to give to families and friends who have had a death in the family.

We also suggest some useful websites where you can get further information.

Books can really help children to develop an understanding of death and we list some of the publications our support workers have found most useful for the families they work with.

Please remember that we are always available to talk about any of the issues here. If you have concerns, questions or worries, it can really help to have a conversation with someone who understands.
