Volunteering for SeeSaw – can you help?
SeeSaw depends on volunteers for so many areas of our work. Volunteers may be trained to provide direct support to families or help us raise the funds needed to provide our service.
There are many ways you can help:
- Volunteer support workers – These specially trained volunteers provide much of the one-to-one support for children and young people. For more information about this vitally important role please click here.
- Community fundraising volunteers – There are many community events during the year where we need volunteers to help out. Why not come along and help us with bucket collections like these lads on the Swinford Toll Bridge Charity Day, marshalling at events such as the Abingdon Marathon or selling raffle tickets.
- Ambassadors – Give talks to community organisations, represent SeeSaw at events and receive cheques on behalf of SeeSaw. Training and regular meetings take place throughout the year.
You may wish to volunteer on a regular basis or just occasionally for a few hours. Time is so valuable and we rely on many people to help us during the year. Please contact Jill Childs, Administrator, on 01865 744 768 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details of volunteering opportunities.
