Clipper Round the World Yacht Race

Autumn 2011

In the Autumn of 2011, Tracey Smith took part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race sailing from the formidable Southern Ocean.

This leg of the race took just under four weeks, covering 4,743 miles and included sailing one of the world's great capes - Good Hope.To read of Tracey's journey visit her website - Tazchallenge where you can also sponsor her and post a note on her message board.  For every sponsored pound, half will be donated to SeeSaw and half towards Tracey's berth fee for this once-in-a-lifetime challenge.

Tracey began her fundraising for SeeSaw on 4th June 2010 with a fantastic day out on the Solent on a Clipper. Here is Tracey (right) and the crew including SeeSaw Trustee Kay Symons with the cheque from the day.
